I had the silver package for several years (I have been a Charter customer since Charter started servicing the Lincolnton/Vale nc area). I try the gold package for a year and switched back to silver. Imagine my surprise to find I had lost some channels on the 100 channel tier. I called CS and found out that Boomerang and Ovation are now part of the 2nd tier, which includes the 300 channels, sports. WHAT DO BOOMERANG (channel 118) AND Ovation (channel 156) HAVE TO DO WITH SPORTS??? Also gone is channel 154 and 129. I was told I would have to pay 10 bucks more a month to get these channels (including sports channels, which no one in my home watches). I am NOT going to pay for channels I don't watch. WHY do you incude these channels in the 100 tier with sports (300 tier). It makes no sense. For the first time since I have had Charter, and it's been many years, I am seriously considering changing to sattelite. I feel this is a HUGE rip off and it just makes no sense at all. I am extremely unhappy about this move. Please leave the 100 channels in the tier where they belong, NOT grouped along with sports. Very stupid move.
