I travel with my pet and find that it will cost me $125.00 each way to take him. He is also considered my Free carry on. He goes on the floor under the seat in front of me and no one touches or does anything for him except me. I can see the charge but think it is excessive. But why does he count as my carry on? I have to pay $50.00 round trip for my suitcase because I do not get a Free carry on. His ticket and my suitcase costs $300.00 almost as much as my ticket. I feel the airlines are picking on Senior ladies, we are the most likely to take our pets as they are our companions. I would like to see this rate reduced (it was $100.00 last year) was only $50.00 a few years ago. And not count as my free carry on.
