Monarch Grand Palm Canyon Resort filthy horrendous Hotel from Hell

We purchased the Palm Canyon Resort time share in June. THe model they showed us was acceptable. Our first experience in July staying at the resort was horrendous. We checked in on a Friday night at 8:00 pm. We went to the studio room and it smelled like someone had vomitted in it.

We called the front desk and they said they would send someone up from housekeeping. We said we needed to change rooms. They said that was not their policy. We waited an hour no one came. We called again and just then housekeeping came in with dissifectant spray. We told the front desk this wasn't going to cut it. Change our room now. We then had to lug our suitcases back to the front desk to change room keys. We lost about 2 hours that night.

THe next stay was in NOvember and as in July there were many issure of maintenance that still had not been resolved. After we checked in the room assigned still had an odor to it. Couldn't put our finger on it so we turned on the air-con. The issues this time were the blinds had veins missing from it. The handles on the sink and tub were loose. Night latch was falling off. THe bathroom linoleum was cracked and coming up. We took this list to the front desk the next morning and asked if they could attend to it. THey said no problem.

We went out to the pool til 2:00 pm. We went back to the room and nothing had been done. Got dressed to go out again and stopped at the front desk and asked why nothing was done. They did not know. We handed them the list again and ask to have it done by the time we returned. We returned at 9:00 pm Again nothing was done. We called the front desk she sent someone up with the veins for the blinds within 15 minutes. This is supposed to be a five star quality resort, what a joke.

As I have read on this web site is this 5 stars out of 100? We are time share people as we own Disney and Four Seasons which are 5 star quality resorts. I have written to Monarch Grand and Palm Canyon and have gotten not respose. If anyone has any idea of how to actually contact these people please let me know.
