Used Kayak the first and last time on March 2 for a room in Salina, Ks.initially, the room that I wanted that was on their site was not available. The attendant gave me an option of a hotel that was in "walking distance". I agreed, paid and headed to the hotel. Once there, I quickly began to look for an alternative place to spend the evening as upon driving up to the hotel " Ambassy Motel" in Saline, Ks., I had to dodge police cars in the front. Greeted by a nice lady in the front, I was issued a key. Upon entry into my non-smoking room, I began to dodge the cockroaches and started counting the cigarette burns in the carpet. They then proceeded to charge me $12 for a pet fee, which I gladly accepted only to have the counter lady say that it would be $12 and $3 for the credit card processing.

Now, my methlab style hotel room is at $58 $15 = $73.00... Following the last series of fumes from the room, I elected to remove my wife, my dog and myself from the facility. I called "Kayak" and they said they could not refund any of the money...

The "Ambassy Motel" in Saline, Ks is a disgusting representation of travel accommodation and Kayak is just as bad.
