Travelocity Incentives basically does not honor/guarantee a hotel price rate reduction on their own website without viewing the transaction as a total cancellation, complete with a 1 Night occupancy penalty charge, when the rate dropped by $10 a night on their own website for the identcal reservation the day before it commenced. To save the $30 total for my 3 day reservation, I was offerred a one night penalty of $139 plus forfeiture of the $100 Gift Card I had redeemed i.E. $239. Buyer beware. Travelocity Incentives is not consumer friendly. I could hardly understand their agent for her thick accent after waiting a lengthy time. She sounded like a broken recond. I almost asked if her name was Peggy. I cannot recommend this website or their gift cards. The hotel's own website had the same rate. I felt penalized for planniing ahead and making and paying for the reservation 6 weeks in advance. They also do not automatically inform you of a price reduction like Kxxxxk and other travel sites certainly find a way to do. I put Travelocity Incentives in the same category as Bank of America and their games. At least the bank learned a lesson. I predict Travelocity will have to rename themselves eventually because of a bad consumer reputation.
