We too have been ripped off by this company.in June we, after a lot of thought and checking their website out and that of the cruise company, booked a holiday with them.

We were going to do the lot, Florida, Cruise and Cancun but as the money started mounting up we decided we could do a world tour for what it was going to cost us and so we requested that our accommodation be transferred to Florida only as that was where the kids wanted to go anyway.

Yes, this could be done but at a cost. Having already paid nearly 600 to them by credit card we then sent them a bank cheque for 368 to cover the cost of administration to change the accommodation (!) and also the final payment.

We were told that we would be advised of the accommodation 90 days prior to travel which is 31st July this year. When this wasn't forthcoming we checked and they told us that we would hear 45 days prior to departure. Again we heard nothing and started querying this with them. They suddenly went silent, Suzanne, Katy Ward and Robin had been very friendly, I even knew Katy was going off on maternity leave!

We sent them emails asking them to call us, they had in the past when requested, and emails telling them we wanted to know about our accommodation of we were cancelling and asking for a refund. Nothing.

We suddenly received an email telling us to watch our post very closely over the next few days as we would be receiving important information about our holiday. That important information turned out to be the letter telling us of their insolvency but assuring us that another fulfillment company, a bigger one, would be taking over our holiday and for an additional charge our plans to remain the same!

We never had any intention of paying any more money out and by now realised what was happening but the next day we received an email telling us that they had made a mistake and this company would not be honouring their commitments. No surprise there.

We have paid nearly 3000 for air fares and our final five nights in Florida, and the children would be devastated if we didn't go, so we have now had to pay out again to rent a house for 10 nights.

We have filed complaints with the Attorney General in Michigan and with the Department of Agriculture (Consumer Complaints) in Florida. The latter being at the suggestion of our credit card company who declined to reimburse us.

I suppose we will have to put it down to experience but I hope they all burn in hell, if there is an all, probably one man in a bedroom on a computer! Hope he does anyway. We shall continue to throw as much muck as we can at them in the hope that someone listens and something sticks sometime.
