Arrived for 35 days extended stay to arrive at condo overlooking rooftops rather than ocean view we were told it would have. Carpet was filthy, carpet tacks were sticking up to cut feet if we walked without shoes (they came and pounded them in), they came and fixed fan and safe, corridors were being painted a few days into stay but rain washed paint into hallways so we had no choice but to walk through rivers of paint. We complained nearly everyday, but they said condo was privately owned so they had no control over condition.
The morning we chose to leave, housekeeping called and asked what time they could come and clean carpet. We said anytime because the room was too nasty to stay in. When we checked out (10 days into what was supposed to be our 39th wedding anniversary extended stay) the manager offered us another room. Couldn't believe it! We were all packed and ready to go and they finally offered this. We had already made arrangements to go to NC to visit family. The manager said she'd try to arrange some adjustment. I've attempted to call and emailed twice, no reply back.
