I had to go through the X-RAY machine. When i stepped out a guy closed a gate and I was told I had to b patted down and asked if that was ok. I asked why and she said that there was an anomolity showed up. She said that she was going to do it there and I said no, she sad that she would take me over and pointed to a corner and I said no, she asked if I wanted to go into a room and I said yes. I asked if I could have my shoes since the floors were FILTHY. She wouldn't let me. She got another woman to go with her. We wae had 20 surgeries on my stomach that that was probably what showed up. She poked me on place on the front of my shoulder and one place on my stomach. BOY did I feel safer after knowing that if I had been carrying something on me that 2 little pokes would have found it. I was so upset afterwards that I would have never got on the plane if I hadn't been meeting my daughter in Denver. Then I got on the plane and that was the coldest thing I had ever been in. It was so bad that I couldn't touch the chains on my purse to pick it up. You could hear the wind through the plane so bad that it sounded like rain hitting it. The plane needs to be scraped. The only thing that was good about the whole experience was the flight attendant. It was US AIR 5982 going into Denver. I will never book anything through Continental again.
