I saw she was boarding people, and said "I know you are busy now, why did you send me here, and why did you say "I could care less a half an hour ago, and not do her job to ensure custumeer contentment.? After I arrived at the gate she told me to go to, she "ORDERED ME BACK AND YELLED IN HER MICROPHONE SECURITY!": This is not a good time to have power struggles for homeland security. You need mature women and men working at the airports. A terrorist could have done anything while she was using her "security card" I was glad she did call security as he was professional, spoke in a professional manner, not a snotty, arrogant tone like Kim, and understood the whole thing got out of control by Oontinetal staff, not me or my family He understood I would not have known the gate to go to if she had not given it to me, and she had intention of sticking with "I COULD CARE LESS" attitude, and trying to intimidate me with calling Security! I was not intimidated but very upset at her game. The security officer was nice, listened to us, and wished us a happy vacation. Then the arrogant man at the boarding area told me and my family "YOU CAN"T BOARD THE PLANE TILL SECURITY SPEAKES TO YOU" Yes by that time I was irritated. He was smirking and the other man had to tell him TWICE THey spoke to Security, everything is fine let them on the plane." Took him tow times for the arrogant employee to "let us board"Then the flight attendent was arrogant with my husband, he was trying to explain something to her and she continued to cut him off. She said "I understand you had an incident but lets try to be good now!" My husband is not a two year old, and our business helps pay for her salery. On the way home we were blessed with her again as our flight attendent, who was obnoxious to all passengers. My son felt a little sick (like a lot of people flying) and asked if he could have a coke. Her response was "you already got your ONE COMPLIMENTARY DRINK! He said "if I knew there was one drink I would have asked for a can!" regardless he was feeling ill and I thought flight attendants are supposed to attend to the guests. Her comment was "if you are sick, I will have to have the plane turned around!" What on earth was her problem. My son was not acting Mentally ill, or sever medically ill (I wonder what the Pilot would have thought of her idle threat???) Then she started asking inappropriate questions which are out of her scope of practice, I am a Psychotherapist and my son was not acting strange but became more frustrated when all he asked for was a coke! She asked him if he was on medication and he stated yes and she wanted to know what kind, again out of her scope of pracice, he was not acting irrational, hearing voices, threateining he at all. He responded I take Welbutrin (for mild depression) and as a therapist I can honestly say she probably is on or should be on medication as her responses were out of line. Most of society have taken or will take an anti depressant once or more in their life, and this woman should be psychiatrically evaluated ASAP. I then cut in and told her "that is my 20 year old son, he is ill not dying and just wanted a coke. I remained quiet, heard you threaten him to turn the plane around, ask questions she had no right, and instigated the situation to become worse. Had she done her job, helped the passanger and given my son a coke nothing would have gotten out of control. This is irrisopnsible, and HARRASSMENT and I won't stand for it. I suggest you look into the situation, I am sure there is a file on Kym Stone and family due to the trip to Hawaii. We left LA on Aug 4 at 5:15 pm and returned to LA from Hawaii on August 12 at 9:15 Hawaii time, so it is easy to check out. More and more consumers are tired of the rude, arrogant, obnoxious way of flight attendents who don't do their job. I suggest you take my complaint seriously as Jet Blue passenger is not the only passenger who informed the media. He was crazy I admit but your staff instigate people. The media will be spoken too and my lawyer. I will not tolerate being abused verbally and emotionally and threatened with idol threats that this no body flight attenent has no authority at all. Your immediate response is expected and we no longer will fly with jet blue for personal or vacation use. And this will not be put under the carpet. Your immediate response wil be appreciated and I am sure you want to prevent your staff's arrogance turning into a law suit with many passangers. "We bought our tickets very early and they asked us which seats we wanted to have. Due to my fear of flying, my husband ensured that I was sitting with him and my two boys were together, close to us. When we got to the gate, a very rude man told us the seats were "NOT A GURANTEE, " and we would sit "where I tell you to sit.!" My husband tried to expalin his wife was a bit afraid of flying and ordered the tickets and seating in ample time, and the plane was not even half full. The staff said "Oh well" we asked to speak to his supervisor "Kim" and she told the man "I don't care about their problem!" I realize security is an issue, but we are paying custumers and do not deserve to be treated like this. I asked the man at the counter to call her again, as my lawyer was on the line and wanted to speak to her about her error with seating. Her comment which was told to us via the man at the counter was "Fine tell her to bring her phone with her lawyer on it" She gave me her gate number. I went to see her and she was in the middle of getting people on board. I am an intellignet person and understand security has to be tight, and understood she was busy at the time but why did she set me up, tell me to come to her gate, and when I did (I explained I knew she was not busy but not half an hour previously when she said "she did not care" if a customer was not happy. She should have spoken to us then. As I followed her advise, that she set me up for an excuse to call security, I realized I would complain later as staff on airlines has become so rude, arrogant and they really do nothing for the consumer. She told me to back away, which I did and called SECURITY. For heavens sakes, her attitude could have been a security risk, using her "power" to show she could care less about the consumer. Other big security issues could have occured but she was ignorant, arrogant, and wanted to show she had power. Was it worth it. I dare so NO. A security officer approached me and my husband, and we explained the entire incident. We also said one employee was trying to help us but the other one was smirking and being rude, obnoxious and ignorant all to the glory of "POWER" We told Security we were not happy with our seats being chamged. And there excuse "we can change seats whenever, even thought they asked us for our seating request and it was honored on paper. We told the Security Gurad (who was very nice of the incident that led to him being called. We told him this "kim" told the man to "send her to my gate, with her attorney on the phone."
