Upon my arrival at o-hare to pick up my parents a traffic official screamed at me to continue moving around the traffic zone. My party had been located and was moving in my direction and my daughter had left our car to help with their luggage. The zone was not crowded and my parents are in their late 70's. The official seemed to feel it was a personal affront to her that I did not wish to continue moving and allow my parents to leap into a moving vehicle. Quite a contrast to the Welcome to Chicago-We are glad you are here signs they had encountered upon their arrival. Welcome to chicago Indeed. I have lived here 25 years and this continues to be an embarrasment to our city.
