I had found a very lovable looking border collie on the internet for only $250.00. Stupid me thinking -"wow thats a great deal" I responded and got a huge form back with name info how many kids do I have... Everything seemed legit at first and I scheduled to have the puppy delivered on a Saturday. Tom Kami (Email scammer) told me be home all day Saturday and I will receive a call including the delivery details.
I sat home that whole Saturday and no calls. I emailed "Tom" Back asnd asked what was going on. He said he was to busy and for that he would do the registration papers in the morning. Which brought us to Sunday. 6:30pm I got a phone call from a Jamafracan I couldnt understand and the phone was breaking up telling me to stay at home the following day because the puppy was going to be delivered.
I went to work and they called again informing me of a confirmation email they were sending about the delivery. They sent it about 15 minutes later asking me to wire money to them by Western Union and they will send me the flight numbers. So stupid me I did.
I recieved the email about the flights and I just had this gut wrenching suspicion about it. So I started googling names and phone numbers and everything was coming up scam. I called them out on it and they kept assuring me everything would be fine. Then they said since the flight will be so late they wouldnt delivery the puppy till Tuesday morning at 10AM.
I was confused on why even if they did rip me off, why were they still leading me on. I sent money through Western Union to Cameroon Africa and realizing Africa - They're Western Union is closed and they cant get the money so thats why they were leading me on. So I called Delta (The flight they had the dog on supposedly) and Delta said there were no animals on that flight. I immediatly called Western Union and asked if the money had been picked up yet. It hadnt. I asked for a refund and they gave me my money back before the scammer pet service got it. Im telling you I was very lucky!
Ive been throwing it in their face that there not getting my money and they wont respond. I feel very bad for other people who are getting ripped off. Please do reserch before any internet purchase and especially dont wire money!!!
