If you are in a Las Vegas casino you will come across someone trying to give you free tickets, hotel stays, etc. From the Grandview. My advice it to run in the other direction! While our offer worked out as promised (2 free nights at Luxor) we had to ultimatly pay a steep price in being subjected to a 3 hour timeshare sales presentation full of insults, threats, and badgering. It was AWFUL and really put a damper on our "free" trip.
We were basically told we were idiots and God will get us for wasting the salesman's time. Every time we said "no" another level of pressuring and badgering would come from a new "manager" then "supervisor". Then we would be shuttled to the next room where we had to be scolded for being so foolish as to let this deal pass us by. Then shuttled to the next staging area where we would have to sit and wait some more as further punishment then quizzed a few more times about our sanity then finally FINALLY given our compensation.
It was so unbelievable! We feel so stupid for being civil to the salesman and answering his personal and financial questions. If he would just have focused on actually telling us about what he was trying to sell instead of needing to know every last detail of our lives maybe we would have at least walked away and told someone who was interested, but no, he acted like I was a complete idiot for suggesting that.
Even if i wasn't complaining about the badgering sales tactics i would complain that the initial price was $27,000 and by the time we refused again and again, the price came down to $4000!!
If you decide to endure the presentation, make sure the prize is well worth it, and don't tell them anything about yourself, you are there to learn about THEM, not the other way around.
