Holding my Timeshare Account Hostage While they "investigate" their mistakes

Worldmark has locked me out of my account so that i can't make reservations either online or by telephone. Worldmark claims that the check we sent in for maintenance dues was returned. This check was cashed by Worldmark on 5/11, we have faxed copies of our bank statement indicating the same, and asked Worldmark to come up with some evidence that the check was returned (which they have been unable to do). The check was for $142.00 and at the time it was presented for payment, there was over $6K in the checking account. Our bank has sent us no notification that any checks have been returned. But Worldmark insists they must "investigate, " and this could take up to five business days.in the meantime and for quite some time now, i have been locked out of my account and have been unable to make reservations for timeshare units that were available during this lock-out period and are no longer available.
