Green Orange Rentals and 'Doctor.' Roger Colby... 7/26/08
We'd utilized this person before and even though the rental wasn't as good as publicized, it had been fairly well-priced. This time around we'd a terrible period coping with Roger Colby. We made preparations to hire a-4-room apartment for 32 times in the cost of $3000.00 which we settled by check. He was really mindful while gathering our cash, but didn't return some of our emails within the times resulting in our appearance. The night time before we were to reach he delivered us an apologetic letter stating he would need to stop our reservation because of issues with the preservation of the rentals. He described that people might obtain a return. Nevertheless, he'd not reply his telephone (never does), or his emails, so we'd no method of obtaining our reimbursement.
After several times (post our birth day), he delivered us a contact saying that his organization could be shut for thirty days and he'd not be addressing the telephone or emails. We chose to obtain a Sheriff to visit the tackle were we'd delivered the check (i.E. His home) and try to get our cash. The Sheriff said he have been to Mr Colby's home before having a related criticism! Mr. Colby informed us he was sorry, but he didn't have our cash and he questioned us to return 4 days later.
At the moment I requested Mr. Colby why he'd to shut for thirty days in the centre of September and he explained that it had been their slow period. I appreciated that the earlier mail Mr Colby had delivered requested us to over night the Check since it was their peak-season and he desired to make sure we're able to arrange our Apartment. I nearly dropped it! I'd several alternative phrases for him in those days. Four nights later we returned for the check which eventually returned (NSF). We're pursing appropriate way to get our money-back and ideally place this theif/criminal/low life in just as much legitimate difficulty as you can. Because he returned the check this really is today consided a legal problem not only municipal and that I will soon be composing the DA to record this along with the BBB.
