The pier house resort is nwoingly booking a local thief-drunk-dope head. This is very bad. John evans owner of hydro thunder key west is a known crook on the island. Evans likes scamming clients by knowingly and falsely accusing them of dammages on jet skis and boats knowing they were already there. If you google hydro thunder key west - you will see reports by customers where evans falsely accused them. I also was present several times evans did this and his employees get 50% of what they can charge guests for these bogus claims.
Evans also has a mug shot on the monroe county sheriffs web site for d.U.I.
Is this the kind of business you want to support.
Also evans was involved in the theft of a keys yacht then torched it. He lied to police while stealing boat.
The pier house has given evans an exclusive on jet ski and boat rentals for thier customers. These concierges dont tell you but they get a 20-30% kick back cash from evans. This is very sad because guests paying this much for a room should not have to pay a concierge 20-30% for making a phone call it should be a free service.
The manager of the pier house is very rude and we were told yesterday the reason evans has an exclusive is because she was-is involved with him.
If this hotel gave a d*n about their customers they wouldnt have vendors soak you and take a nice cash kickback.

Him and his crew rent these out daily and many times i wittnessed him drunk or stoned while doing so.???

Oh yes and hes being sued currently for injuries on his jet skis and has also had a young person killed on his jet skis... (and he laughs about the waiver these people signed waiving him of liability)
Do not support a crook business owner like john evans of hydro thunder key west or any hotel that books this crook/drunk.
Evans has locations behind the ocean key resort and hyatt key west marina..
Oh yes one final note...
One other reason this hotel books evans is because he gets them higher rental rates which in turn gets their concierges more money.
If you book direct, evans and many other companys charge the same price as through a concierge. If pier house gave a damn about you and not just your wallet they would offer the concierge service free and take the 20-30% off the rental and give it to you direct.
So why dont they???
Its all about your money in their pockets...

Quit screwing customers in order to put cash in your concierges and managements pocket. If you give a damn about your customers youll quit letting watersports businesses screw your own customers and putting the money into your employees pockets.
