Cheaptrips
First no refund, then high prices, then the big disappearing act

I was approached by phone solicitation to buy a membership in the Cheaptrips company to receive discounted and free flights. I was promised all sorts of discounts and advantages. A couple of months later they contacted me to upgrade my status to VIP, so I did so. Total cost was over $200.

Each time I would try to make a reservation or flight it ended up being more expensive than other sources. I called to get a refund but was put on the merry-go-round.

I recently went on a trip to Europe for 5 weeks. When I returned last week I tried to contact the Cheaptrips and find that they are no longer on line. And I have no way to contact them.

I have been taken, plain and simple.
