Dear Sir/Madam,
My Ordeal with Celebration World Resort - Florida
I feel I have been cheated by Celebration World Resort after using hard sale tactics to snach 597.43 from my bank account.
This was what hapened a couple of years ago.
Firstly, through a popup, I was guaranteed that I had won a 1,101.00 prize regarding a 9-night holiday in Orlando.in order to get that, I only had to pay 597.43 at once to book the hotel for two. Being caught by surprise and unguarded, I fell in the trap and I accepted in good faith.
Secondly, I was told that I had 18 months to make the final arrangements to reserve the holiday dates, flights and so on and that all details were on their website www.celebrationpromotions.com. They gave me the number CBK01250524 and the Code LW9NT but I never managed to get to the details. Every time I tried I was denied access to them. I did complain several times through the telephone and e-mail but I got to nowhere. They promised also a package with a welcome letter and all the forms and details to be delivered by UPS and Airbone Express in 10 or 14 days.
Thirdly, they have never given me a receipt for the 597.43 in spite of asking for it several times. However, they did send one through e-mail but only six months later and after I had pestered them.
Fourthly, the promised package with the full details to be delibered in 10 or 14 days was not arriving. I complained several times and then they sent an e-mail after several months later with the supposed details but only mentioninng the good bits that they had told me over the phone on the day I was hooked.

However, about six months later the so called informatiopn package arrived but full of nasty surprises. Only, from this moment I was made aware that the costs of flights, transfers, taxes, meals, etc., were not part of the offer as I was left to believe they were from day one.in my opinion, for some very dubious reason, these details were kept from my knowledge with the clear intention to deceive.
Fifthly, I had never been given the chance of a seven-day call off period to make up my mind as this was only brought to my attention six months later. Anyway, I would never have accepted such a deal if they had been honest with me from the very beginning.
Finally, I have contacted them several times in order to remedy the problem but in vain. I know that there is not such a thing as a free lunch, but I was offered 1,101.00 prize robbed of my money (597.43 and I got no lunch.
They seem to be a great company, but they abused of my goodfaith and cheated me mercilessly.
