I was buying airline tickets to be with my husband stationed in another country. I paid extra money just in case my passport was late and needed to cancle the flight. Well, my passport was late and I was told I could use a credit within a year, as long as I used the same Airline.
I recently tried to use my credit. I was on the phone for 2 hours with Expedia making flight plans to home to see family and to use the credit. Finally, after making the reservations I was told I couldn't use my credit twords my flight because it wasn't the exact same flight. Than she said the only way I could use the credit would to be to cancel the flight I just made and try to get a voucher from the airline. Like I'm going to spend more money to cancel my flight I just made.
