Booked wrong flight date leaving me stranded

I purchased a round trip ticket through Priceline for Oct 10-13th, I confirmed those dates and printed out the email I was sent. I arrived at the airport on the 13th to return home and discovered that the flight had been booked for the 12th which left me stranded thousands of miles from home.

I was forced to purchase another ticket for $950 one way. Priceline refused to help me and only offered to sell me ANOTHER ticket to get home. The lady at the United counter told me this happens a lot and 2 people on my flight home said they'd had the same thing happen to them.

I would like to see a class action suit brought against these companies and force them to refund the money for the additional tickets that had to be purchased and any hotel/motel, car rental and food bills aquired while waiting to get another flight.

Priceline says you need to be flexable on the TIMES you leave on the date requested NOT flexable on the DAYS. They say on their web page: "Flights within the U.S. And U.S. Territories:

With priceline, your flights will depart between 6 am and 10 P.M. On your travel dates, arriving no later than 12:30 A.M. The next day".
