Misrepresentation - holding YOUR funds - No customer service or prompt response

I purchased jewelry on board a CARNIVAL cruise. The salesman informed me the ring must be sized at their srvice company to retain the year guarantee and it would take 7-10 DAYS. He said this more than once.

When I returned home - I, at my expense, sent the diamond ring to his company. They then told me it would take 8 -12 WEEKS. I told them I would never spend that much money on jewelry I could not wear for that length of time and demanded a return and credit back to the charge card I used (of which I have already paid the bill). They told me that my "refund" would also take 7-10 weeks. They basically are using my money interest free for 10 weeks while I have no product.

I will not travel Carnival again if this is how they do business - behind the veil of this scam company. I intend to file a complaint with my credit card. They have not responded to my e-mails or given me any satisfaction. I am thoroughly disgusted and want everyone to know that they should stick with cheap liquor on the cruises and not buy anything from this company ever!
