Sadely the same thing happened to us one morning. We got a call from Carmella deJesus, and she insist that we have a conferance call with me and my husband together. After advising us on this wonderful holiday that we have won!!! Later to discover that we need to pay US$998.00. So we did not win, it was only a discount holiday.!!! We also had the same pakage,

Very sceptical we listened to the whole conversation and gave them my credit card number. Then Roger said please hold. Back on the line with Carmella, she just went on saying how wonderful it is and how lucky we are, they did mention they got our detail from Bigpond internet service, they nominated us for the competition. Roger appeared and said that my card was declined. I repeat "Yes I know, there is no fund available" I said how can I pay these people and have no guarantee, I was sure this is a money making sceme, he answered that if i did not receive the holiday package within three weeks time the money will be placed back into my account. I can just contact Visa and the will rectify the amount.
So I did do the transfer and now am AU$1193.00 short on my budget. At the moment I am trying to contact them to get my money back, cause we are not actually interested in a holiday to the States. I belive that I can cancel the contract under the Florida State Laws 30 day cool off period. We were presured in making a decision right away, and clearly it was the wrong decision.
Please dont be a fool, never give these people a chance to talk you into anyting.
