Greyhound - trip from hell!

I quit Phoenix, Arizona Friday, April 6. Coming to Flagstaff at 3AM, the coach products served themselves to over $300 from my budget, which had dropped onto my chair when disembarking to ensure that the coach to become "maintained". After I protested to team and driver, authorities were summoned and informed "I had been drunk". First, I don't consume. I'm a diabetic, and was merely acutely irritated in the indifference of the Greyhound workers in the robbery of my income. Next, I had been not really permitted to stay in the final, and escorted by said authorities to some $75 resort space that I employed for about 5 hours till I'd be permitted about the next coach out. (incidentally, "public drunkenness" is definitely an arrestable crime in Flagstaff, however, it appear great interested that I had beennot imprisoned... Probably the policeman gets a kick back in the resort!).

Significantly later that evening (nearly night about the 7th), was I "knocked" from an overbooked coach in Amarillo, Texas by an incredibly violent and foul mouthed driver, along side 2 additional guests who have been going to my location aswell (Albany, NY). At the moment, the foul mouthed and violent baggage handlers declined to get rid of our baggage, which all 3 people had really observed being packed, and "guaranteed" us that it'd be "awaiting us at our location" (the same solution we got the following 7 occasions we asked about our bags on the way!). Authorities were named again, this time around by us, and informed us they might do nothing. We waited within an absolutely dirty final for more than 6 hours to get a substitute coach. On arrival in Tulsa OK, their dirty finalis food-court was shut and also the food vending machines were damaged. Because it was Easter Sunday, we were informed by workers that practically nothing was available everywhere round the final to buy food. Lastly (near-starvation), when departing for St. Louis, MO after still another 6-hour "layover" (coach was more than 2 hours overdue), we handed THREE available food shops within 2 blocks of the final! I really could continue concerning the next four or five stops, however, you curently have the image.

Your published "itineraries" were complete fiction. Contacts were overlooked, every final we quit at using the exclusion of Pittsburgh PA was MEANS beyond dirty, and all motorists save 2 were AT-BEST rude. Solution brokers laying, phones not responded, motorists promising and violent, gear and devices horrible and/or wearing down, and a typical "layover" period between 3 to 6 hours at each one of the next 7 prevents until eventually dealing with Albany, nearly 84 hours after departing Phoenix on our "joyride".

Upon arrival at Albany, NEVERTHELESS no baggage for that 3 of us, despite the fact that by this time around it'd had twenty four hours to reach in front of us! The client "support" broker in Albany, NY laconically advised us that: "they often appear following a couple of days." Today, more than 48 hours after our appearance, nevertheless without any baggage, the clear answer from client "support" is "Well, I suppose you better are available in and document a state". This is often and was completed online, where you're educated after entering your info that: "You'll be informed within 7-14 days"! You receive exactly the same disclaimer ELSEWHERE you document info on their site, and there's NO client "service" site everywhere on that site (or do they actually record a person "service" phone number.

I've been a faithful and regular Greyhound client for more than 40 years, but I will assure you that I'll NEVER patronize that organization again! Easily seem only a little "upset", I - can guarantee you that it's since I Have been sporting exactly the same garments for seven days in AROW today; and can't actually manage to displace any, because Greyhound was accountable for "reducing" me of around $375 in Flagstaff. What I WILL manage nevertheless, would be to contact the General Public Service Fee, the Interstate Commerce Commission and also the U.S. Department of Transport. Greyhound hasn't just damaged client confidence; but along this "journey from nightmare", I created cautious notice of atleast 20 violations of nationwide transport regulation and rules. "Go Greyhound" evidently indicates "Move F*ck Oneself"!!!
