We were scammed out of $3200 for a "membership". Company now cannot be found.
I called the 866 number for Discount Global Travel. New company, Mid-American Connections Travel, now answers phone. Woman who answered stated that Mid-American Connections is not affiliated with Discount Global Travel. However, she would not provide name of the owner of the company when asked. She stated that she only knew her boss, Gayle. She referred me to Gayle who of course was not available.
I assume this is the same Gayle who worked for Discount Global Travel. Gayle McDonald was the New member services person for DGT. I believe she provided the bogus employee repsonse on 6/29/06 that DGT was not a scam.
Most of the other employees are the same I had contact with when it was DGT. New office is only a few miles down Woodward Ave in Berkley MI.
Anyone in Detroit area actually seen the Woodward offices of either DGT or Mid-American Connections?
