I had a "free" travel certificate that I was not able to get a reservation for even though I sent them the $100 deposit that validated our certificate. When I called them, they advised me that they would refund the $100 within 6-8 weeks. I have been calling every month but there is no live answer - just a recording and answering machine. Steer clear of any high pressure vacation clubs!
I went to a presentation in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. At the end of the presentation, we decided not to go with the program but they gave us a travel incentive to see the properties. I sent in $100 to validate my certificate but was unable to get a date to go. I finally spoke with someone in January who advised me that they would refund my deposit and that the check would arrive in 6-8 weeks. Well it is now September and no check has been seen!
I have tried to call each month and only get an answering machine. They are a ripoff!
