Grand Crowne Travel Club!!! What a rip off. First they get you in there and tell you that there is no leaving to make up your mind.
My husband and I decided to check this travel club out. They told us it would be perfect for us because we rode motorcycles and we could just drop into any hotel or condo anywhere at the drop of a hat and save big money. Never happened. Had to make prior reservations. Never could get anyone on the phone either.
Then after Hurricane Katrina hit we called and told them we were not financially able to continue with this club that not what it was suppose to be.
We sent an email and they said it would go before the board. Two hours after I sent the email I receive word that my husband has been killed on his motorcycle.
Grand Crowne had the balls to write me and call me to let me know that my income change did not warrant any reason for me to get out of this crap.
Since the entire $7,000.00 dollars had been put on one of their credit cards it was paid in full and my problem to deal with.
If a devastating hurricane and the death of the financial spouse is not enough, I don't know what is.
This is a company that needs to be put out of business. I would like to hear about a class action suit on this company.
