After receiving a fax from Dynasty International, entitled "To all Corporate Employees" at my place of employment, I read with enthusiasm the offer of Dream Cruises to the Bahamas, at $149-00 per person. I called the Toll-free number, spoke with Marcus Daniels and his Quality Assurance supervisor, Jason, and was told about this Close-out, limited offer.
I decided to surprise my family with this dream cruise, and paid $615.90 for my wife and two kids to cruise to the Bahamas from Ft. Lauderdale. When I tried to arrange anything thereafter, all I got was automated phone messages and long wait times at the 1-800 numbers I called. I did eventually get to speak with Wendy and Joan on separate occasions, and when I asked about the long wait, and whether there was a problem, I was told they had staff who were off sick.
The dates I wanted to cruise were always in-season or high-season, and not available. I have documents which state, "If Dynasty is not able to fulfill your vacation request, you will receive a full refund of your purchase price. No questions asked!".
I guess it was all too good to be true, you know the saying, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". I wish these scam artists could be held accountable. How are they able to get away with this kind of thing?!
