Re: Reservations and Tickets

Dear Upper Management-

As directed, this notice is being sent via fax and regular mail. This is to inform a person (no one could provide a name) in upper management of fraudulent activity.
This is also a formal complaint to upper management of the business procedures.

The Passport number to be referred to is (xxxxx) The reservations were made for December 24th, 25th, 26, for a DECENT CLEAN hotel room. I was assured that the hotel assigned was at least that if not better. A week or so later, I received a phone call that the hotel assigned was not available, and was switched to something else. I believe that is called bait and switch. I voiced my concern over this, but was assured several times the hotel was just fine.

The hotel was absolutely NOT just fine. It was dirty, the mattresses needed replacing 10 years ago, the environment was unsafe, it was WELL BELOW decent and clean standards. For our health and safety we had to check out immediately. This was not what had been promised nor the reservations I made.

I did attempt to call right away on December 25th, however all offices were closed. I called on the 26th, and was told the cancellations have to be made 72 hours in advance of arrival. This statement is true, however that would be for NOT ARRIVING AT ALL. Furthermore, the conditions were horrible, which is opposite of what your representative told me.

When I requested a number to call to file a complaint, I was given 407-355-1197. The person I spoke with said I could call that number.in calling that number, the answer on the other end indicated it was a fax machine. How rude!

I had to call again, and spoke with Charlene. She was able to tell me it was indeed a fax number. I asked for a name and number to call to file a complaint, she indicated I would have to use the upper management name and the fax number. She was unable to provide me with a proper name to address the complaint to. That is poor business practice.

Prior to leaving for this trip, I called again to make certain everything was in order. After several attempts at looking for information, the reservations were found. I again was assured this was a decent and clean place, as I still had my misgivings about being switched.

I also inquired where to purchase tickets for Disney World. The person I spoke to was able to provide me with tickets. I received a map of where to pick them up, which was very nice. The person I spoke with indicated we were not eligible for the tour of the time share village, but clearly instructed me several times on the directions and building where to pick up the tickets. I was assured that I could get in and out very quickly with no problem. I told this person we were only able to spend one day at Disney, and that would have to be the case. I was again assured we would be in and out without any problem.

When we went there, we waited OVER AN HOUR without anyone being able to assist us in getting the tickets. From what I understand, the persons working there could not find the tickets at all! Of course, there was great disappointment on our part. This is outright fraud. This location did not have an adequate number of employees working, as well as sufficiently trained employees.

Be of notice that the credit card company I used has already been notified of this fraudulent activity, and will be completing an investigation.

Letters to the State of Florida have also been sent, as well as to the proper Federal agencies reporting your business practices. Notification to all the internet web sites dealing with fraud has also been made.

How horrible of you to take away a well deserved Christmas present for a 9 year old, Mr. Or Ms. Upper Management.
