We were offered a "get away weekend" in Dallas. 2 nights 3 days. We just had to attend a 45 minute sales speech on Vacations. We went on a Thursday with a Friday afternoon session. We were told we were buying a travel plan with up 50% savings. We paid $6,000.00 for this lifetime nightmare. We tried to get out of the contract on the following Monday and we were told we could not do it. We could not rescind. We called our credit card company and they told us all we had to do was wait until the bill came in and they would help us get out of the contract. The CCC told us they had lawyers who do that sort of thing and for me not to worry about it. Well I get a letter today telling me too worry about it, they can not help. The sales people at Grand Crowne in Dallas were hard sell. The room was hot, we had no time to read contract, it was hurry, hurry, hurry. We were nearly nuts and the music was so loud. We both had a splitting headache. Husband has been sick for the last 6 weeks. We are embarrassed, broke, and have this debt and I am outraged that that we have no recourse. Any help for me?
