I purchased a lifetime membership with Cheaptrips for $200 in January but still can't access their website and everytime I called to have them fix the problem, nothing was done. I also purchased a cruise incentive from them in February but it wasn't what I expected and I cancelled it and returned the package. It is now May and I still have not received a refund.
Every time I call their customer service department I am told the supervisor isn't there or that they can't do anything about it except pass the message along to the corporate office. They never return my phone calls. You can't contact their corporate office because the phone number is not made available to the public. Someone is getting rich off scamming his/her fellow Americans out of million of dollars. I'm out three hundred.
I followed a complaint with the better business bureau in Denver, CO. I really think the news needs to cover this story and talk to the person who owns cheaptrips (I read that he/she is an individual residing in Florida) and alert the country to this terrible scam.in the end, what goes around comes around and they will get theirs but wouldn't it be nice to see them bankrupted? Someone needs to take them down! Any ideas??
