I was contacted by agents travel network for a frre trial. Like a moron I went for it. I recieved the info in the mail and sent out the id card and notice of cancellation. They also sent me a trial for teleflex long distance. I cancelled that within the free trial.
A month has went past and I find out that they both took money out of our account after everything was cancelled. The teleflex didn't have the right account number but the bank let them take it anyway. I called the agents travel network and the woman said I was supposed to call. Played the original conversation from when I signed up. It was stated in that conversation to call.
The packet said to send it in. I told the woman I didn't care I did what the packet said. She gave me a cancellation number and said that I would have to mail that to the home office to get my money back. Isn't that what I did to begin with? She only cooperated after I said that I had spoke to the bank and an attorney about it. She also said they weren't affiliated with teleflex.
They are the idiots that signed me up with them. We are in a hard enough financial time and don't need to deal with this. That money plus the fees from the bank for the overdraft are just rediculous. I won't stop until we get it back. I think the damn government should do something so that people can not get into accounts that easy. The bank should have never let it go with the wrong account number.
