Fine Food and Wine Cruise is filing bankruptcy and canceling all of its wine cruises. It has already canceled the Merry Edwards Wine Cruise scheduled for June in Europe and has now canceled the Tobin James Wine Cruise scheduled for April in Tahiti.
This has affected 100 people with Merry Edwards and 300 people with Tobin James. None of them will see any of their money or receive the cruise. Under Shoes Only Travel they have 4 cruises scheduled over the next 4 years, all on ships owned and operated by Paul Gauguin. If I were booked with Shoes Only Travel for any of these cruises I would be very nervous considering what has happened to the people on the Merry Edwards & Tobin James Wine cruises. Because of the terms of the Travel Guard insurance, this financial default is not covered under their insurance. Beware of booking with Shoes Only Travel.
