Last August I engaged in a transaction online with Hotiwre.com for a one night hotel stay. Hotwire misadvertised the location and quality of the hotel and upon doing the final click, I ended up with a hotel and a location I did not intend to purchase. I was also baffled when I saw the poor reviews online about said hotel. I immediately called Hotwire
and my credit card company to alert them of the situation. I did not make use of the hotel night. I followed through with Credit Card disputes presenting evidence (screenshots) of how I was mislead by the Hotwire site and also
evidence of the bad quality of the product (an aggregate of about 40 reviews on TripAdvisor). All my attempts have been fruitless. My dispute was denied by Chase Bank and my appeal rejected. I am being held responsible for a
product that was misadvertised and that I was mislead into buying. Hotwire Customer Service is terrible and will not work with me.
