I received a ban notice after posting my introduction thread for an area I recently moved to. Reason: spam. My post was not spam and luckily I copied and pasted it into notepad earlier because I thought I would get timed out (I'm a busy parent). My post introduced myself and offered a link to my blog. On my blog I sell nothing. I have no business to promote. I am not affiliated with any commercial interest. I only have a petition I set up to get the town where I live to do something about getting any kind of high speed internet into the community. No company specified at all, just for them to set up infrastructure. That is hardly spam. What I did notice about city-data is that it has less credibility than Craig's list. I definitely have no intention of recommending anyone who is relocating or attempting to introduce themselves to their new community to use that site. Something clearly wrong with that kind of censoring.
