Poor replacement services

In mid June I ordered replacement Leg & Beam joints for my Intex 15'x48" above ground pool. After giving them the date of purchase, place of purchase, & UPC# they told me which joints to order.

About 2 weeks later the wrong parts arrived so I immediately contacted them about this & after about 45 minutes they agreed to send out the correct parts by ground. After several more minutes of arguing they agreed to send them 2nd day, after all it was their mistake, not mine!

A week has now gone by & the parts are still not here, & why is that you may ask (& so I did). I was informed that 2nd day is only the shipping time from when the shipper is notified, & does NOT include processing time.

It now appears that it takes 2-5 days to approve the replacement, another 2-5 days to notify the warehouse, another 2-5 days to process the order for replacement, another 2-5 days to pull the order, and another 1-3 days to invoice the order & contact the shipper for a total of 9-23 days, and these are BUSINESS DAYS, NOT CALENDAR DAYS!!!

How a company can stay in business with this kind of service is beyond me, unless you subscribe to the thought that they would rather you buy a new pool each season (at $500-$2500) rather than repair your old one. After all, who else besides Intex sells above ground pools through the big box retailers of K-Mart, Target, & Wal-Mart or shopping clubs of Costco & Sam's Club?
