Andre Farr and the Black Sports Agents Association (BSAA) has been ripping people off for years, and it is time that his scams stops. I met Mr. Farr at an event in 2011. While I thought it unusual that he has no partnerships with the NBA, NFL or any other major sports association, and there was not much information about him other than scam reports, I decided to see what his association was all about. The very first thing is that BSAA is not an entity - in fact it doesn't exist-check the Secretary of State. But even still being that I wanted to expand my business more heavily into the Sports and Entertainment world I thought it worth hearing what Mr. Farr had to say. I spent some money on his "BLAAC" event because it was donations only. He told me that for 5100 dollars I could become an "executive member of his group". 5100 dollars would allow me to meet and network with over 300 agents of whom he claims grossed over 3 billion dollars in revenue last year. Mr. Farr claims to be agent who made his first million by the time he was 21 and first 10 million by the time he was 24. I was intrigued with the thought of being exposed to this level of people. He spent time telling me how "God had brought us together" and led our meeting with prayer and discussed his Christian principles. He had a cohort of young men and women that worked for him that bragged about working for long hours, without pay for percentages in the hopes of achieving some success. Mr. Farr encouraged me to "act fast" in getting him the money and I had to fill out an application that was about 8 pages long that wanted all types of information about my finances and background - a ploy he uses to make his business look legitimate and like he really wants to "screen" what businesses enter his group. He bragged about having a "big upcoming event that was a secret and high level this summer"- claiming he was goingt give away the "Athlete of the Decade" award.
Prior to giving him my money, I decided to do some in depth research, so I asked around to several athletes and UCLA alum. Each of them had the same exact story - Mr. Farr took large sums of money from them, used religion and prayer to bait them, and then did nothing in terms of the promises he made. Additionally many of these indiviuduals were scared to speak about him in public because he uses threats of bodily harm to intimidate them to keep his scams going. He has scammed many well known entertainers and athletes in the community. Furthermore I contacted the House of Blues and they issued me a written letter saying they are not affiliated with Andre Farr.
While he has done some celebrity parties and corporate sponsores events, most of the people who worked with him have distanced themselves from him.instead of looking like poor decision makers they would rather just take the money that he scammed from them as a lost.
Mr. Farr prides himself on ripping off small businesses and young kids under the guise of him promoting business in the black community. He uses a lot of lies and religion to make people think he is an honest and upright man, but in fact he is a con artist who belongs in jail. I regret giving any money to his "BLAAC" event as I am sure he is using the non profit to scam money for him to continue his fictitious business. I am not going to get into the rest of the details of the lies he has told that I am aware of because he will be able to identify me, and I know for a fact that he has used force to scare of intimidate people and I fear for my safety. I regret giving any many to Andre Farr's latest scam "BLAAC". I think it is sad that he uses kids and small businesses to fuel his schemes - the worse part being that he claims most of what he is doing is to fuel economic development in the black community.
Please please anyone reading this, know that I am telling you the truth and these are not lies nor hate as Andre Farr would want you to believe - let him tell it people are hating on him and spreading lies because he is doing a mighty work of God in the community. I am sure he will try and figure out who wrote this, but I hope this saves someone from engaging in business with this man. I am currently trying to figure out how to take legal action against this fraudulent business and scam artist Andre Farr. Business men and women beware! Please for your own sake!
