What a headache and a hassle! Future students beware. I signed up for a 6 month program. Super T said at the time I signed that in order to cancel all I needed to do was give a 1 month notice before cancelling. Fast forward 5 months. I let him know one month before the end of the contract that I was not going to renew. His response was that I needed to tell him 1 month before the last electronic withdrawal that I was going to cancel and that I was in a 1 year contract. I spoke to ASF, the billing company, and they said that it was a 1 year contract from the start. Also there are hidden costs such as a $20 fee for belt testing every 3 months. This guy has dollar bill signs in his eyes. Hes out to make a buck. Find a different karate studio that does not have mandatory contracts or belt testing fees.
Super Ts biggest hang up is that he expects everyone who signs up at Super T Karate to become a black belt, which takes 3 years. Once you sign up dont think about cancelling. He does offer a basic class but says everyone moves to elite. And guess what, you need to sign another
contract. Thats right, $130 each month for 3 years and $20 for belt testing every 3 months. Thats over $4,000, no wonder he wants everyone to stay! Every time a new student walks in, its cha
ching!!
