I bough a 2008 seafox boat at this dealer, first they contact me three times beacuse after tell me yes, they can not find the engine I ask on my order. The delivery promess was 4-7 weeks, it took 12 weeks, then I have to wait another two weeks in order to have the engine installed. The same day I was ask to go and pick up the boat, there was electricians working on it.
Add to all the wait, the claimed I have to pay another $ 6,000.00 cash to get the boat because by mistake the ask the bank finantial for $ 6,000.00 less that they supoust to ask. We have a big discosion about this and I end up paying $ 3,000.00 of that money. They financial the $ 3,000.00 at 0.0 % apr for three years atrivuted to the boat trailer price, I 've been paying this bill but I have never recieve a statment or bill from them.
Conviniently, the dealer is farth from open sea and the always sais that is time consuming to go to open sea for a test drive on your on boat. Well as result I could not notice that the engine was improperly prop, they put always too much pich making the customer to believe the fastest the better the performance.
The engine on my boat will crank and even start with the master switch on the OFF position. When I took the boat to them, they said the have all the technicians sellin boats at the boat show, and I should leave the boat and wait about two weeks for them to be able to put a mechanic to work on my boat. Ofcouser I did not let my boat on their hands, an Evinrude dealer took care of the safety problem in just 10 minutes, and this guys want me to leave my boat for twoo weeks.
Weeks later I have to re do all the trailer adjustment, beacuse the boat will never align on the trailer at the ramp.
I will never recomend to anybody to buy a boat from Legacy Fisherman on Dania beach, they will promese whar ever to get your money, and one's they got it, they will be never available for You.
