Lifestyle's salespeople will tell you that the monthly rate quoted by them is guaranteed. This is a lie. Lifestyle recently raised my rate by over 8% and I have been a member for over 6 years. Of course the guy who signed me up is nowhere to be found. I think he cleans pools now. Sales people in my club turn over very quickly.
Buried in the fine print on page two of the contract that you will be required to sign is the following:
"annual or monthly dues, member's fees and changes are subject to change without notice at the sole discretion of LFF (Lifestyle Family Fitness)" This legal gem is located in the paragraph titled: Right To Terminate in print so small anybody over 40 years of age will need the assistance of a magnifying glass and a paralegal to see it.
Memberships are way down in my club and the club management is raising rates across the board without notification of any kind. You will be asked to set up an automatic draft from your bank account or credit card. Don't do it. Once they get in your accounts it is hell to pay to get them back out. Be advised. Lifestyle is ripping people off!
