I filed a report on 5/17/02 about my 2-year problems with RFW.
A year has gone by we still have only swam in our pool twice in 3 years. I called some other pool people to help and the only thing they could do is pull all the RFW pump, filter and plumbing out and replaces it all for $950.00. Is the only recourse?
I decided to try one more time to get RFW to do something about my problems. I called on Friday and talked to a nice man, he said call back on Saturday when there are 3 managers there.
I just called and the Store manager Scott, he was very nice and is sending a service man out Monday to look at our problems. I didn't just fall off the turnip truck but I'm hopeful. I have been a customer of RFW for 12 years and have always paid for their parts and they were always OK. Just because 1 store, salesman or manager is bad doesn't mean all are bad.
First impressions are the Orlando Office on Colonial might be better than many, at lease the salesmen I talked to on Friday and the manager Scott. Scott told me NO CHARGE for the man coming out to check on the problems Monday, It is bad that their parts only work with their parts and you can't get them anywhere else, but that's OK if they stand behind their products with service. I don't mind paying for service or parts as long as it is done the right way. I'm disabled and can't do much about the problems but pay money I don't have.
Thank you Scott at Orlando Office on Colonial for being nice and understanding. Looking forward to working with you, KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED. (P.S. A year ago I bought a waterbed next door to them and one of their salespeople help my wife and I load it. Thank you)
