On the 7th of May I placed an online order at www.stringsdepotplus.com. The good that I ordered was a reel of string for tennis racquet called Gosen OG Sheep Micro 660' Reel 16 which costs USD 34.99.
On the 18th of May I picked up the product mentioned above at the local post office near where I live. When I opened the product, I was not happy that the product does not match my original order. The product sent was
Gosen Polylon 660' Reel 16 which costs USD 29.99.
They did offer me some compensation, but I found it not fair. First, they offered me a 10% discount for my next purchase. I presume they thought that I have money to make another purchase from them???
The wrong product sent is no use for me, because polyester type string will hurt my arm when I play tennis. They also offered my to keep the wrong product and they will give me a 50% refund. How fair is this? I've lost money and I have a wrong product that I won't use. So I will lose 50% of my money spent and I keep a wrong product that I won't use??? This all mean I will lose 100% of my money spent at their online shop because of their mistake.
