In Dec I purchased 3 new XMOTO 250 cc dirt bikes from County Motorsports in Clovis Ca. I was assured of their success with this brand called XMOTO. I was told about their excellent service department, which would provide me with exceptonal repair service. I was assured they were a full fledge sales and service shop and because of their assurance i spent $6000 for my bikes.
Upon receipt of the bikes, i found them all to be missing some parts. I was informed those parts would be ordered from the service dpt. Befoer we took them out to ride them, parts begin to fall off and we had to get parts from the local hardwares store. Within a few hours of riding the bikes they instantly began to break down and fall apart. One bike; the shock aborber crumpled on our third ride, it just totally collapsed during a regular ride.
All three bikes have problems with the fuel line getting kinked. The second bike brake system collasped during its first 6 hours of riding. The breakdowns continued during december and we reported them to the store, but never could get any response about what to do.
Each time we called someone spoke to us and gave us the run around.
I never received the third bike registration and title. The origianl parts were never received /
Finally, after so many problems and no help from the store, we returned the bikes on Jan 3. We were told the parts were difficult to get and it might take some time. We called the store several times to get an update. Each time speaking to a young person who didnt know how to help us.
Finally, in late January and again in February, I mailed 2 certified letters to the owner, Jesse Gonzales, demandiing a refund. I never got an answer from him at all. He doesnt respond to our calls. The last i heard from the service tech was they robbed parts from one bike to get the other two parted out. But they still cant get parts for the bikes. My new bikes are still at his store.
I have filed a small claims suit against them and will proceed to court soon.
