I wanted to let you know that I have been recently scammed by Bret Leutzinger of The Players Dugout in Riverside CA. I purchased 2 comics from them that were supposed to be signed by Stan Lee and one by Todd McFarlane, when in fact the signatures turned out to not be real! I had them appraised and verifed and they were indeed fakes, also it should be known that these comics had been sealed in a CGC holder as a Signature Series graded comic book!!! On my first call to Bret Leutzinger, he has confirmed to me that he did not witness Stan Lee do the signature and he thinks Max Anderson actually did the signatures himself. Bret claimed he purchased these comics from another person named Max Anderson, however Bret was able to get CGC to slab and grade them as Signature Series comics, even though he himself never seen Stan actually sign them. CGC Claims they don't do that, but Bret Leutzinger has confirmed to me that CGC will graded books under signature series without proof!!! I feel I have been ripped off and scammed, the local news couldn't even get a statement out of Bret of Adam at The Players Dugout. They refused to contact. Maybe CGC can explain why they are allowing people to submit books without proof that Stan Lee signed them. I did a search on CGC, the Players Dugout and Bret Lutzinger of all of riverside CA. I found several google responses of fraud. Beware buyers, CGC amd Players Dugout is a scam, and the mastermind of Bret Leutzinger, don't get ripped off like I did. Players Dugout is selling these comics on eBay under Bret Leutzinger's seller name spideyfan101. I suggest you look somewhere else for Stan Lee signed books as mine turned out to be fakes.
