Dishonest, Humilating, Aggresive, Disregarding of other peoples feelings and thoughts

In December I walked in to 24 Hour Fitness to purchase a membership for my wife. The assistant manager was very high pressure and talked me into buy 2 memberships saying it was that months special and basicly I was paying 2 for the price of one. So I left with 2 memberships paid for that one month and a "one month" after I decide to cancel. A felt a like I was taken advantage of but it gets worse...

A little while later I decide I don't want the membership so I decide to go 24 hours fitness. The C.S.R. Was so rude and just gave me a sheet off paper and turned away. I then asked her what I was suppose to do with that, she then replied with a unlikable tone " We DO NOT handle cancelations. You need to call that number." So I did then an hour later on hold I talked to a C.S.R. Named Sharon ID# T742 she then canceled my account but said that I would still have to pay another payment because it was in the contract. Whatever I had enough of there poor service.

A while later Febuary 1, my wife went in at night to work out The customer service rep would not let her in. Humilating her in front of others she said "you can't come in becuase you didn't pay your bill". Astonished, my wife quickly called me, I half asleep got up and got on the computer and checked my account. "The Account is set on a SWEEP!" I said even though we still have a "free month". NOOOO My wife was not let in, instead they gave her a number to call to fix the problem. My wife came crying home saying she felt like mistreated by the C.S.R.

So I then rolled out of bed took my laptop and went over there. Seen the same manager that sign us up in the beginning and explained the situation. He then took a look at his computer pressed a few buttons and said "oh, all we need is your bank info. When you canceled it took out the information on her account.", "why couldn't the C.S.R. See that?" I asked "AND why was she so rude". He replied that not everybody is trained to the fullest and they could not control all their employees and their actions or words.

So I left went home, my wife still upset wanted to cancel her account too because of the embarassment she went through. Again I called their 1-800 number and waited and then expresssed to the C.S.R. Ronald ID# T700 what happened, my concerns, my sincere thoughts, and my eagerness to talk to the district manager. Ronald said he would refund 40.04 and it would take 5-7 business day for the refund and a call back from the district manager. Never got my refund never got a call.

Today March 1st I get a call from 24 Hour Fitness Financial Center telling me I owe $40.04. WHAT! I couldn't belive it they had to transfer me over to C.S.R. Fabiania ID# T579 so I can explain everything again. She also said the same thing 5-7 business days everything would be fix and I would get contacted by "THE MAN (district manager)". I don't belive I'm going to get either one (my money or a call).

What kind of place is this?! I haven't had so much distress, anger, humilation and frustrastion with a company. This is ridiculous I want to SUE!
