Run as fast as you can

I made the mistake of ordering a Massimo 500 UTV from these jerks. I orderd it assembled and delivered to Florida. The first problem was that there's was no hardware supplied for with the roof install or the windshield. Ok, things happen and they sent me the parts. I found a box of used/broken parts in the glove box. I had paid for assembly and inspection ($450). Theses is not enough room to list everything that was wrong with this unit but to give you some highlights - the winch was never bolted to the frame. It was just sitting there and being held in place by the electrical connectors. When I went to change out the gear oil to syn, I discovered there was less than an ounce (I measured it) of oil in the rear and about half of what should have been in the front. The hydro pistons on the bed box were in place but with no bolts on them. When I lifted the bed, both struts just fell off. I pulled on the horn handle and it fell out into my hand. The hitch receiver adaptor was missing. The brake fluid level was almost empty (about 1/8 of an inch) and there was clearly air in the lines so I had to bleed the whole system. The list goes on and on.

After complaining over and over about "assembled and fully inspected", they finally refunded me the $450 for the service or more appropriately lack thereof after I told them I was going to open a dispute with Amex if they didnt. This model is now a stock item at Tractor Supply Nationally and while you will pay a little more up front, you will save in the end since TS actually does assemble and test them thoroughly and they provide a much better warranty. I wouldn't call Killer Motorsports crooks, just incompetent. I should have just ordered it crated and assembled it myself. Half the bolts on the unit were only hand right when I received the unit. Not just "not tight enough" but literally hand tight - it looks like someone put them on and never got around to using a wrench to tighten them up. The list of assembly screw ups goes on and on and on. This. Is a ridiculously easy unit to assemble but not idiot proof so I suppose if you have idiots doing the work... Under no circumstances should anyone buy from them unless you are willing to assemble it yourself. And I still can't figure out how you can screw up color coded electrical connections. Brown does not go to blue.
