My fiance purchased a living social deal for me at Haute Beauty Couture In San Jose. They required an apt to be made online which was fine but the closest apt they had was 3 months out. Fast forward 3 months. I receive a confirmation email yesterday for my apt today. Drive 40 minutes to get to my apt at 3 today and the windows are boarded up. I call and the vm box is full. I ask the neighbors and they tell me the owner of Haute Beauty Couture sold her business last week.
Id like to know if there is any accountability for businesses that go out of business and rip 1000s of people off using deal websites.
Im pretty upset.
