The Berry company continues to auto renew my one line advertising listing, after i verbally cancelled and sent a notice of cancellation a year ago

After i called and verbally asked not to renew my phone book advertisement, and sent a notice of cancellation in July... They went ahead and auto-renewed my listing for another year without my verbal or written consent.
