You will purchase bids but will not win the auction if you are the highest bidder as you will run out of bids-you set their "bid pal" function to a high amount but it will "randomly" place illogical bids for you unlike what most real auction sites do. The highest bidder does not necessarily win. You must pay to be a customer! -people who bid for less, but have purchased more bids than you, will win the item
for less than the higher price you set on bid pal. When you ask them why they say you ran out of bids and were disqualified to continue bidding and so you lose.
THEY SAY FULL REFUND NO RISK TO TRY AND THEY WILL NOT REFUND EVEN IF YOU CLOSE THE ACCOUNT IN 6 HOURS AFTER OPENING IT
They will instead SCOLD you for not reading the fine print while stating there is no fine print in an email that is full of fine print and mumbo jumbo about the rules and how they don't have to refund and how it is your fault for not reading the rules. They say you will get your bids back in 24 hours but if you want a refund the answer is no... Not really you just get to keep bidding and losing money! FANTASTIC BUSINESS POLICY IN MY OPINION BUT THEY WON'T LAST LONG FOR SURE
If you think you have to pay to be a customer you need some real good psychotherapy!
Here is a sample of the exact email I got from them after closing my account within less than 8 hours of opening it... We apologize for any inconveniences. You asked our support team to close out your account. Your account has been closed. Every new user, including you, receives a trial of our bid protection feature. This feature is a way to help new users get use to how the site works. A user's bid account gets refilled if he/she does not win an auction within 24 hours. That is what was promised and eventually given to you. The email you received during your bid purchase clearly states:
As a new user, your account comes with a 24 hour trial of the
bid protection feature. This means you will get all of
your original bids back if you do not win by the time your protection expires.
The email you received clearly states exactly what would happen. This is not in fine print. Please read that email again. There multiple areas in the "FAQ" section and the terms and conditions that clearly explains our refund terms. We have a no questions asked refund policy for bids that have not been used. We have never argue with a customer when it comes to refunding bids that have not been used in the auctions. There are several links explaining how the auction and bidding work.
