Martha Patterson called telling me that she could have someone interested in buying my timeshare and that she would work on getting them approved if I would like. A few days later she called back and said that she had someone interested in buying it. She would send a contract out in a few days after they signed it and got their deposit in escrow. She sent a contract a few days later, and then wanted $495 to be deposited in an account of Lakeshia Griffin to secure the title.
I would get this money back if the title was free and clear, she said. I signed the contract, but was slow in getting her the money as I was checking out the company. It did not sound right, but she was very convincing and made me believe that she would loose her job if I did not send the money that night, as she had already submitted the paperwork to the title company. Long story short, I gave her the money and never heard from her again. She changed her cell phone number the next day. DO NOT do business with this company. Hopefully I have learned my lesson that people WILL lie right to me and think nothing of it!
