This company Lucky Money Inc. Gives a couple of ways to send money. One way is via checking account but can take 6 days or more. The other is by credit card but will take only one day with at least $8 fee. When I reviewed my credit card statement I saw a cash advance fee for $10. This is terrible. I sent $20 but ended up paying $18 just to send $20. This is really disgusting. I will never use this company again. I have used my credit card in the past with other money couriers but they never charged it as a cash advance. I had the opportunity to send it as if I purchased something.
This company should be upfront. I am taking my time so that others know this can happen to them. It should have stated upfront that a credit card fee will be assessed if a particular credit card is used. It gives me the impression they are in cahoots with the credit card companies to make money for them then split the profit between them. I have used my checking account with other money services and my money got there within hours. But this company will take 6 days or more if one uses their own checking account. That makes no sense.
Fair warning to all who decide to use their credit card to send money at such an exorbitant fee.
