PTI who takes railroad crews to different locations to pick up trains sometimes out to another state wants drivers to call in to get on a board or get a place in line with other drivers but they tell you when you hire in you work 12 on 12 off. Your time starts when you call in. But I found out that it is not true they (pti) wants you to work longer then that but you do not get PAID until you are moving and not getting paid while waiting and that not fair. They say you work 12 on and 12 off. But it dont work that way to them I am still thgere but tring to get out. The pay is 17 cents per mile and if you are waithin you are supposed to get paid for down time but you dont always get your money. Stay away from these people. They will rip you off and lie to you and thats not right. The pay stinks and your up long hours with no PAY thank you.
